Ok, let's get it poppin! I saw on the gram this morning that Supermodel Adut Akech is engaged to Nigerian Artist Runtown. I love to see it!
A lot of people are saying "omg I had no clue she was even dating or better yet they were dating each other" & that's the POINT.
Someone's romantic relationship is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
As human beings sometimes we can feel entitled to have access to other peoples lives. I personally think it's kind of weird... If anything when something exciting like that happens in someones life and YOU had no clue about it, then that should tell you where you stand with that person. Frankly, some people that you "think" you're like that with you, aren't like that WITH YOU... & it's OK.
If anything now you will KNOW your place in that person's life and now you can act accordingly. There's no love lost, it is what it is...

I love receiving messages like this so that I can see things on the other side! It's OK to disagree with people as long as you keep it cute and respectful.
Disclaimer: When it comes to posting your significant other on social media it is most definitely subjective and a case to case basis. It all depends on what you and your partner agree on and what each individual wants out of the relationship.
As extroverted as I am, I am extremely private and introverted when it comes to certain things. Idk, maybe I'm a weirdo... I'm super big on protecting my space and being mindful to NOT operate from a place of fear but as y'all KNOW God has NOT given me a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind! PERIODT. (2 Timothy 1:7)
If you wanna share your relationship on social media, go ahead, be my guest, enjoy your life! But as for me I'm keeping it cute, and putting that **** on mute. (cues Tiara from Bad Girls Club as reference)
& if you see me out with someboy's son don't come and "ASSUME" anything you don't know for a fact. Just say hi, or not lol... It's all good with me either way hun. I'm doing me.
People talk too much for my liking. It's not like "oh I'm so perfect and I don't talk too" but its constructive and if it's not let me also do my konkonsa in peace. LOL. I call it constructive tea.
Like I said before not everyone that is screaming "YASSS" in the comment section is truly happy for you. Pay close attention to those IG analytics and see how people will be sending that post privately to their friends. You'll see...
On the other hand, when I see you get engaged, married, on baecation, or whatever the case may be, trust and believe I'm happy for you babe! & if I didn't know about it it's all good boo. I know where I stand in your life, like I said there's no love lost.
But as for me and this household, I won't be posting ANYTHING unless I feel lead to when my time comes...
& even if I do post before then, mind ya business 😬...
If you wanna post your significant other on social media, its OK. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But it gets weird when you're posting just to brag about what he/she does for you etc all for the sake of aspiring to be someones "relationship goals". Even with that title you should be very careful of who's relationship that you "wish" you had, you DON'T know what goes on behind closed doors. (For example: Will & Jada & Entangled August Alsina)
As for me, nobody is my relationship goals. The pictures be cute tho 🥰 ...
